Other objects of general public utility

  1. To acquire property for the sole use for public good by making it available for public purposes as for example, housing a library clinic, crèche and/or as a community ball to be available for public use as training classes, seminars, discourses and other public functions for benefit of the community in general.
  2. To working on ensuring education for children, livelihood for the youth, healthcare in rural villages and urban slums, women empowerment and sensitization of the privileged masses.
  3. To research, campaigns, policy interventions, building capacity among those engaged in recycling, and creating awareness about the need for reduced consumption and better waste management among the middle and upper classes.
  4. To undertake any other activity incidental to the above activities but which are not inconsistent with the above objects. PROVIDED the Trust may assist/donate the other TRUST to carry out the various objects mentioned in the objects clause in such manner and to the extent the Trustees may decide upon from time to time.
  5. To conducting research and action program to promote social justice and equity for the under-privileged with a focus on women and child.
  6. To attempts to bridge the gaps between research, action and policy debate, with a focus on issues concerning the poor, especially women and children’s.
  7. To work toward empowerment of women and girls in India, guarantee their fundamental rights, and increase understanding of social issues from a gender perspective.
  8. To intensify the work on issues related to Human Rights. To intervene legally when there is a human rights violation.
  9. To defend human rights by opposing violations, strengthening enforcement mechanisms, sensitizing the public, and campaigning for constitutional and legal reforms.
  10. To raising women’s rights issues, particularly within the developmental and political context of India. To responds to specific needs of women in India such as gender budgetary allocations, strengthening support services for women affected by violence, and security of women in conflict areas through fact finding processes and advocacy with the government through workshops, training and publications.
